Olocco has always designed and manufactured its products based on the fundamental principles of quality and functionality.
Founded in 1950 in Fossano, Olocco took advantage of the wave of the economic boom of the years to come by committing itself to building special machines for various multinationals with local offices, in the automotive, plastics, rubber and similar, food sectors. But it was the following decade that marked the decisive turning point when, at the turn of the 70s, the company moved towards the design and mass production of machines for dosing and pneumatic conveying of powders and granules, starting from 3 simple types of valves.
In 1990 the changed needs convinced the owners to move to new and larger headquarters (3,000 m2) in the industrial area, in order to be able to cope with an established national market and a rapidly growing foreign market.
In the following years, despite the large series production and the vast range of valves reached, Olocco itself begins to deal with “special” versions in order to be able to respond to every market request, from food, plastic, chemical, pharmaceutical and building materials . A winning choice that will allow it to best mitigate the global crisis that will affect the market in 2009 and subsequent years.
In 2012, the achievement of the EN 15089 “explosion and flameproof” certification for the range of compartmentalized rotary valves also fits into this context with the IBExU university institute, while with the international body Dekra it was able to certify its production system with the ” Quality Assurance”.
In 2015, 65 years of activity are celebrated with new investments in machinery (among which the new Heller H 4500 horizontal machining center stands out) with an expansion of the production lines.
This in order to be able to look to the future aiming once again to raise the quality and technological level of the valves produced.
In 2016, two latest generation machines arrive: the Heller 5000 horizontal machining center and the DMG-MORI NLX2500 turning center.
In 2017 Olocco srl was equipped with a new flooring for the production area.
