We have been a climate-neutral company since 2022. In cooperation with Climate Partner, we have offset our CO₂ footprint through two climate protection projects. What does that exactly mean?

“Climate neutrality” means that the carbon footprint of a company, product, service or event has been calculated on the basis of internationally recognised standards and balanced by supporting certified climate protection projects.
ClimatePartner’s “climate neutral” label certifies that remaining greenhouse gas emissions have been offset. Offsetting CO2 emissions is an important step in holistic climate protection, alongside avoidance and reduction. ClimatePartner recommends companies to establish avoidance and reduction of CO2 emissions as a continuous process and supports them in corresponding strategies, for example by defining scientifically based reduction targets or switching to renewable energies.”

Since we not only have the ambition to make our company climate-neutral, the next step will be to also certify our products as climate-neutral. This will involve further calculations.
