IEP Technologies Explosion Suppression Systems are designed to detect, within milliseconds, the pressure build-up of an incipient explosion and deliver an explosion extinguishing agent to the enclosed area before destructive pressures develop. The extinguishing agent inhibits the explosion reaction by withdrawing heat from the burning flame and thus lowering its temperature to such an extent that combustion cannot continue.
