ESP – Medium-speed continuous bucket elevator, with double chains connecting the rear of buckets. The mild centrifugal force due to low speed causes part of material to flow off the back of the preceding bucket. Bucket elevator with chains driven by toothed wheels. The main features of the elevator include the following:
– standard dimensions in conformity to DIN specifications starting from 315 mm, with increased width for larger elevators
– high-capacity buckets with extended sides in the upper section (buckets in the discharge phase) so as to contain the material arriving from the bucket behind
The back of the buckets features holes for connection to the chains
– Drive wheels with interchangeable toothed segments for driving the chains
– Toothed return wheels
– Link chains with side plates, pins and fixed bushings. Certain plates feature drilled angular attachments for connection to the buckets
– Tangential feed inlet on idle station
– Tangential discharge outlet on drive station
– Standard tensioning system featuring parallel tensioning by counterweight
Alternatively , a hydraulic tensioning system can be used
